Sports Medicine Doctor in Massapequa

Block Sports Chiropractic & Physical Therapy has been treating athletes since 1993. Our Massapequa team of chiropractors and physical therapists works with everyone from weekend warriors to competitive athletes, treating injuries, restoring function, and building the strength and speed that keep you in the game. Whether you are coming back from surgery, working through a nagging strain, or trying to prevent the next injury, care is built around you rather than a standard protocol.

Three Ways We Work With Athletes

The practice organizes athletic care around three goals. Most patients move through more than one.

Improve

Block Sports runs a training program for athletes to improve speed and strength, supervised by a physical therapist. This is structured athletic development, not a general gym membership.

Heal

Sports injury treatment for major and minor injuries. If something is keeping you off the field, court, or track, our staff can help.

Recover

Day-to-day recovery from the ordinary pain and soreness of training, including ice baths, massage, and adjustments to keep you moving through a season.

Why Athletes Come to Block Sports

Three Decades of Sports Care

The practice has treated patients since 1993 and has cared for tens of thousands of patients of all ages and health stages.

Experience With Competitive Programs

Our chiropractors and physical therapists work closely with athletes, including helping athletes at Stony Brook University recover.

Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Together

Rather than sending you elsewhere mid-recovery, we coordinate chiropractic care and physical therapy in the same practice, which is how most athletic injuries are best managed.

A Holistic, Individual Approach

We understand that each individual is unique, and we take a holistic approach to your care, tailoring techniques to your specific needs rather than applying the same plan to everyone.
