Meet Daniel Hurwitz, DPT

Dr. Daniel Hurwitz is a Physical Therapist at Block Sports Chiropractic & Physical Therapy. Dr. Danny first attended Stony Brook University and graduated in 2021 with his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a concentration in disability studies. He then continued on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2025. 

 

Dr. Danny has had the pleasure to work in numerous clinical settings ranging from outpatient orthopedics, to neuro dense hospital based populations, hospital based settings, and collegiate and professional sports athletes. His clinical interests primarily include sports rehab and rehab of the tactical athlete, shoulder injuries, and manual therapy. Dr. Danny will be pursuing multiple continuing education courses this year to further his clinical skills and knowledge to further assist his patients. 

 

In his free time, Dr. Danny enjoys working out, skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
